Prawning at Kranji reservior ...

Haha, I went with Soki, Junming, Yanfeng, Willex, Grace, Alvin and his sister, Jiamin ... A total of 8 peoples ... We were meeting at 8am, I went to 7 eleven to buy bread ... The bread isn't for us to eat but for us to use it as bait to hook the prawn ... When all reached then we proceed to Berth 11 to take bus 925 ... It was quite a quiet journey ...

When we reach Kranji fishing ground B, I set up the mat I brought on floor(I brought 3 of it cos previously during the bicycle trip, some commented that the mat was too small) ... The rest went to catch prawns ... Starting we only caught small prawns and fishes ... But then Willex caught a big prawns and taught us some technique to catch prawn ... And soon Soki and rest start to catch some prawns ...

Sadly, I only manage to catch small fishes and prawns ... I just set them free ... There was a big prawn, but escaped away when saw my net going !!! Haiz ... Next time, I am going to catch big prawn !!! Before noon, the bread was almost finishing ... Then some of them were thirsty so took bus to the "nearby " coffee shop to buy some bread and drink (I heard them saying that they past 4 to 5 bus stop then reach the coffee shop)...

The sun was scotching hot that some gotten sunburn ... That the reason why people go prawning at evening ... Overall they caught around 18 prawns ... Willex caught the biggest prawn as well as the most prawns ... Grace caught the second biggest prawn ... Yanfeng was so sad cos the prawn keep escaping away, as a result he caught none ...

Around evening, there was a group of adults with a kid who came for prawning ... Immediately, they caught 5 !!! And I heard that they left with more than 20 prawns !!! Guess they go prawning every time... When we are leaving, we put all the small prawns back and pick some of the big prawn home ... Soki brought home 5 ... Grace 5 or 6 ... and me one ... The rest didn't want any ... So I put back all the small prawn back ...

We went home with fatigue ... I told bus home with grace, willex, alvin and jiamin ... Grace and Willex went for pasanmalam ... I just head home ... LoL, my mum who previously said she want to cook and eat the prawn, said she don't dare to eat when she saw the prawn I brought home ... It look so much like lobster but it isn't ... It is just prawn that look like lobster ...
