Even so, I was quite lose when I first reach JP ... It was like so big !!! And going there the first time make it worse ... I don't even know I am in JP1 or JP2 ... I don't see any sign stating JP1 or JP2 ... Somehow it was just like how Novena was (FYI, Novena was where I first started working at, as sale assistant of some retail shop) ... Got square 1 and 2 ... But that one was easy to spot whether Sq 1 or 2 ... Sq 1, the shop are like all packed closely ...
I asked a few people to get my way to Fish & Co ... It was quite amazing that I actually reach there early ... Still thought I won't be late since I didn't went out as planned ... The actual plan was to go out at 3pm but end up 3.30pm then go out ... I wasn't sure how long it would take me to travel to JP ... I estimated the time to be around 1 hour or so ... Maybe a little to much ...
When I reach, I approached one of the staff ... And the supervisor, Chaster pass me a working t-shirt... Though the size is M, but it still seem a little too big for me ... It is a long sleeve
t-shirt ... And I was passed a badge to clip on ... ( It is shown below)
Then another girl who was also coming for training arrived ... Her name was Charlie ... We get along quite well ... She was also the same age as me ... Then Chaster taught us how to set up dining table ... Haha, it seem easy but when I tried for the first time ... I made lots of mistake ... After several tried, I start to master it ... Haha ... Then it was Jenny who taught us (as Chaster is working till 5.30pm), the table numbering etc ... She also let us try the drinks, it passion fruit drink and another I can't remember name ...
And when it is 5.30pm, we were taught seperately ... Jenny, who had work for 10 months as full time taught me whatever I need to know, mostly was on the job for runner (me and her was assigned runner)... From serving plain water and sauces set to serving main course ... When they aren't meal to serve I would be drying the utensils or plate ...
Charlie was taught by Cathy, another full timer who had worked for 9 months (I knew it by chatting with Cathy after work ... We board the same MRT ... ) She was assigned to be server ... I think it is all about taking order, setting up table etc...
Before Chaster go off, he and the rest of us helped Justin (one of our manager) to celebrate his Birthday ... LOL, what a coincidence, first day already get to celebrate manager's birthday ... Haha ... Oh yea, from what I know we have got two manager, Justin and another female manager call Chat ...
The rest of the day go on with serving food, sauces set, drying utensil etc ... Oh yea, I got go into the kitchen for refilling the sauces ... LOL it is so slippering that I am able to skate ... haha ... Then when it was nearly the time for closing ... Me and Charlie sweep and mop the floor of the outdoor ... Then I use sanilizer to clean all the wooden thingy (suddenly forget what is that called ... aiya too tired le ... lazy to think ...)
And I had my dinner, A bowl of yellow seasoned rice with raisin, pepper and dory fish ... (hehe is left unsold de ...) And train home with Cathy, I alighted first at JE ... K I too tired ... Go sleep liao ... ZzzZzz ...
